Design Brief - 27th April 2011

We've being told by our client (in this case Liam) to come up with a new logo for a newly established independent TV Network called CactusTV. After asking some questions in regards for the creation of the logo. This is what we know during the interview with the client:

- The TV Network is called CactusTV

- It is broadcast on Digital Channel 4 on FTA TV

- The Channel is Playful and Vibrant and provides different types of comedy (e.g. British Comedy, Animations, etc.) and has inspirations from the Comedy Channel

- The Channel works on a 24 Hour Basis with programming for Kids being shown from 10am to 4pm whilst programming for Adults is broadcast from 4pm to 10am the next day

- They don't want the new logo to be detailed and don't want to compete with other networks. To put simply they (CactusTV) wants to be seen as simple and unique

- Logo is to be used throughout the Networks Assets (Crew Cars, Staff Clothing, etc.) as well as Sponsorships

- The Network uses Watermarks in all of the broadcasts

- The TV Network as of 27/04/2011 does not have a tagline and a website

With that all (I think that's all) of the questions addressed we now have to come up with a logo that will be suitable for use with CactusTV
